(I know I should have posted this last night but I've had kind-of a long week.)
6 Days until NaNoEdMo!
Also, posting here is open through out the month if anyone wants to share icons, banners, your favorite editing books and websites, what-have-you. I will however be posting daily "log" entries for those of you who like having a check-in place.
I'm combining the next two lessons from the forums and letting you have a few days to do this since I'm posting it so late. Feel free to backlog the prior exercises too.
1. Read your manuscript... You're not making any changes right now. You're just thinking about the big picture. What are some of the big changes you need to make for your story to fall in line with your Sentence for Revision? Choose at least 3.
2. While you were reading, I bet you've also found some areas where you probably went "yeah i kind-of made up what was going on there in that whole section"... You're going to use those sections and find 2 or 3 resources to backup the information and make it more real. You don't have to post your resources, but note to yourself at least your research areas.
And I'll see you guys on Saturday for the last exercise!
