So, it looks like some of us are still struggling to find our footing and I'm not sure about the rest.

This post is to talk about what works, what doesn't works... little things like that. (Or even dear god where do I even start?).

Thoughts, ideas, resources, commiserating are all welcome in this post, as is procrastination, but don't forget to edit some as well.

For me, I am kind-of slowly working through a combined variant of Holly Lisle's One Pass Manuscript Revision (mostly I like this because I've found that i do like color coding) and also pieces of The Blood Red Pencil's Self-Editing Resources.

What I struggle with is having the motivation or energy to edit after i've done everything for the day. I think starting tomorrow I'm going to see if bits and pieces in the mornings and early afternoons work better for me.

Even if you're behind, right now catching up is still do-able.

i have problems with motivation too. i'm also starting to second guess myself which i kept myself from doing while writing the first draft. now i'm just stressing over everything. there's a scene i need to add to develop a character more and i can't figure out how to start it. it's making me crazy!
